Wellingborough Golf Club’s 18th hole featured in a recent article Great Finishing Holes “A drive-able par 4 is always an interesting way to finish. The chance to cover yourself in glory with an eagle or tap-in birdie must be balanced with the potential for embarrassing and destructive dropped shots if you’re errant off the tee. With water protecting the green short and left and no shortage of trees on both sides, a bash at the green might be a little ambitious off the tips, but any solid driver of the ball will be faced with a real decision from the yellows. Harrowden Hall is the stunning backdrop to the green and simply adds to the atmosphere.”

Please take a few seconds to repair a couple of pitch marks on any green – it makes a huge difference.

Green staff safety. Please always treat the green staff exactly the same as you would any golfers playing in front of you. Either wait for them to move out of range, or wait until they acknowledge/wave and call you through. They will know you are there and will do their best to clear out of the way as quickly as possible. Thank you.
