Harrowden Hall is the beautiful home of the prestigious Wellingborough Golf Club and is situated in 160 acres of rolling countryside. The current Hall dates back to the 18th century with its historic background and stunning gardens, Harrowden Hall is the perfect setting for your wedding day.
Right from the initial contact, viewing and through to your wedding day, our designated wedding co-ordinator in conjunction with our experienced Front of House Manager, will be supporting you whilst you plan your special day. On your Wedding Day our front of house manager, will, act as Master of ceremonies ensuring the smooth running of your day.
We recognise each wedding and each couple are unique and we aim to create a special day to reflect you as a couple, no two weddings are the same.
Whilst we cannot offer exclusive use of the Hall, as it is the home of Wellingborough Golf Club, (our members are very respectful of couples and their guests), we do not cater for any other large functions on your wedding day meaning that you would be the only Bride on that day.
We are able to accommodate weddings right through from a small intimate gathering to a larger wedding breakfast for 200 in our specially hired bespoke marquee.

Our Ceremony Rooms
We have 2 licensed ceremony rooms within the Hall; the registrars from Wellingborough Registry office visit on a regular basis to conduct ceremonies. Both of these rooms are beautiful and will be decorated on the day for your ceremony, with any decorations that you have selected, by our dedicated staff. The 2 rooms are the Leather Room which is situated to the front of the Hall, this historic panelled room seats up to 60 guests. The Vaux Room is situated on the first floor of the Hall, this larger room seats up to 80 guests and overlooks the formal gardens.
If you would like to spend your wedding morning with us to get ready for your special day, we can arrange a room for you which is included in your package for the day. We can also arrange for Champagne or Prosecco and lunch on request.

Post Ceremony Drinks and Canapés
After your ceremony, our staff will greet guests with any drinks and canapés that you have selected. Guests can then mingle in our functions bar and relax in and explore the gardens whilst you are having your photographs taken.
There are various parts to the gardens including the formal gardens to the rear of the Hall, less formal gardens to the front and our romantic ‘secret garden’. Gardens can be used for any self-supervised activities such as garden games and bouncy castles etc. The gardens contain several statues and two ponds all of which lend themselves to excellent photo opportunities.
The Vaux Room which is situated on the 1st floor is a stunning period room, flanked by 5 large picture windows that overlook the rear gardens of the Hall.
The room can comfortably seat up to 80 guests, including a top table, for a wedding breakfast (we can seat another 18 in our adjoining Presidents room or this room could be used as a children’s room). Toilet facilities are found also on this floor and there is a lift available.
The room will be decorated by our dedicated team using decorations that you have provided. This ensures that your wedding breakfast room is unique to you.
All glassware, cutlery, crockery and linen (in stock colour of buttermilk) is included in your Hall hire.
Food and Drinks
Your wedding breakfast will be prepared on site by our executive chef using the highest quality ingredients to create spectacular dishes that you will be proud to have served to your guests. We are happy to cater for any guests with special dietary needs.
All of our wines are selected from a local wine merchant and are of the highest quality.

We are able to supply bespoke marquees, that we hire specifically for you from a local company’s, Prices are available on request.
Your Evening Celebration
We are able to cater for up to 150 guests (total) in the evening. Finger buffets, pulled pork/hog roasts/ Barbeques are all available.
We are able to offer wider use of the downstairs part of the Hall at night, thus offering the use of our 2 bars, lounge areas, and leather and committee rooms along with the dance floor that is situated in the lounge bar. Guests are also free to continue to use the gardens.
Due to the out of town location of the Hall we provide a 2-person security team during the evening. Guests are able to leave cars in the car parks overnight (at their own risk.
